COVID-19

As of now, Cleary Lake Veterinary Hospital is operating under normal business hours, but as new information becomes available, we may have to change our current status of business hours and availability. Please check our website and Facebook page for current business hours and availability.

While the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have indicated that dogs, cats, and horses are not considered a risk for contracting COVID-19, we are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of clients and staff within our facility.
Clients

If you have recently had an increased risk of exposure by traveling or attending a large gathering, if you are experiencing any signs of illness or have any flu-like symptoms including fever, shortness of breath, please consider rescheduling your appointment until after a 14-day quarantine.

If you are ill, have been ill within the last 14 days, or have an increased risk of exposure and your pet needs urgent care or medical attention, please ask a friend, neighbor or a family member to bring your pet to our clinic. If you call ahead, we will gladly accommodate your pet’s caretaker and make the appropriate arrangements. For equine appointments at your home or a boarding stable, please make arrangements to have someone else meet us at the barn, or have your horse left in a stall and we will bring a technician to assist us with the appointment. Please be available by phone so that we can reach you if we have any questions.

Small Animal Appointments



We ask that when you arrive here for your appointment, please call 952-435-8387 and a client representative will connect you with a technician to get a history on your pet. Our staff will be wearing face masks and meet you in the entryway to take your pet to the veterinarian to do an exam and any medical services that need to be done. After the exam the veterinarian will call you and go over the findings, any recommendations and answer any questions you may have. The veterinarian will then transfer you to our client representative to take payment by phone and then the technician will again meet you at the door with your pet

At this time we are not doing elective surgeries such as spays and neuters, nail trims, boarding and routine dental cleaning. We are very sorry for any inconvenience. Hopefully we will be able to do these again soon.

Equine Appointments



We ask that only one family member be at the appointment when possible. We ask that you maintain a safe social distance. Our veterinarians and technicians will be using protective face masks during your appointment. Please have payment ready for them at your appointment if you do not have a credit account set up with Cleary Lake Veterinary Hospital.
