Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is one of the many treatments available for horses with back or neck pain. Other options include chiropractic, acupuncture, shockwave and injection of specific areas between the dorsal processes.

Mesotherapy is a technique using tiny needles to inject a substance into the mesoderm layer of the skin. This causes a negative feed back of sorts to the spinal cord to stop pain and spasms.
