Viral infection spread by direct contact through grooming, sharing dishes, fighting and in utero.

It may cause:

  • Loss of appetite
  • Poor hair coat
  • Enlarged lymph nodes
  • Persistent fever
  • Pale and/or inflammed gums
  • Persistent diarrhea
  • Neurological disorders
  • A vaccine is available for this disease.

    In 2017, of 59 patients tested, 1 was positive at our hospital.
