A viral infection that primarily causes immunosupression. It is spread mostly by cat bites, but can be from direct contact.

Clinical signs include:

  • Gingivitis
  • Chronic diarrhea
  • Fever
  • Conjunctivitis
  • Various kinds of cancer
  • Neurological disorders
  • There is no treatment or vaccine for this disease.

    In 2017, of 59 patients tested, 2 were positive at our hospital.
